(Disclaimer: I'm not much of a drawing artist, so feel free to take anything I say here with a truckload of salt.)
With that, I love the detail on her clothes . I also like the ay you did her hair, and the folds in her clothes. The shading is impressive, too, especially on the ground that she's standing on.
Speaking of which, I like the background too. It gives things kind of an eerie look, with the stars, and the village.
Now on the other hand...
She is kind of skinny, for the character in mind, but considering I didn't have any example for you at all, it's understandable. It does make her look a bit less intimidating.
But the qipao was a nice surprise . I also liked the choice of colors you used on her clothes. Red and black fits her pretty well.
All in all, very nice. I do wish she was a bit bigger, but oh well. It definitely catches a person's eye.
The hair is very well done! As is the coloring skill. Well done!
Her shoulders are a tad too wide, though, and maybe her hips should be a bit wider. The arm positions are a little off and the back leg looks strange. Try bringing the knee back more and have it facing more outward. You can make it look like it's facing outward more by increasing the angling a bit and moving the seam of the pants closer to the middle of the lef. You have to keep in mind that it looks unnatural if the direction of the knee and the direction of the foot aren't the same. The angling of the face can look more like what I'm assuming you're wanting(a somewhat side vew, correct? I'm guessing this be the way the jaw is drawn) by move the nose a little closer to the left eye.
Again, this image is very well colored and the hair looks amazing! The background is also very well drawn and colored like a master. This is a very, very good image and the idea behind it is awesome!
I love this! Her hair and the shading looks great! *faves* :3
